Cachtyp mit Icon aufs GPS bringen

Ich möchte mir die Caches mit den entsprechenden Logos auf dem GPS anzeigen lassen, um z. Bsp. direkt den nächsten Tradi zu finden (auch wenn viele Tradis keine wirklichen Tradis sind. Ist das immer noch so?)

Ich habe schon die Icons in Mapsource und auf dem GPS-Gerät.
Aber wenn ich mir die GPX Files runterlade oder zuschicken lasse, erscheint immer nur dieselbe Box.

Mein Plan: für Jede Cacheart ein PocketQuery, dieses File einladen, Icon ändern, u.s.w. Dann aufs GPS-Gerät hochladen.

Gehts auch einfacher...?

Custom Icons

You can add custom icons to send down to your GPSr or mapping software if they support it. GSAK does not create or send custom icons to your GPSr - check your GPSr owner's manual to determine if custom icons are supported and for instructions on how to create and upload custom icons to your GPSr. You can also use this feature if there is some icon symbol missing from the defaults provided by GSAK. Just add the icon names you would like to see in the drop down icon boxes by placing them in the correct text file in the install folder of GSAK. The corresponding text files are:

Garmin GPS and Mapsource = GarminOther.txt
Magellan and Mapsend = MagellanOther.txt

Comments can be added by using a ; (semi colon) followed text. Any data after and including the semi colon is stripped from the icon name before export.

For example, you made up 5 custom icons for your Garmin 60cs. Include these in GSAK by adding the following lines to GarminOther.txt and place this file in the install folder of GSAK

Custom 0 ; sad face
Custom 1 ; smiley face
Custom 2 ; big tree
Custom 3 ; hazard
Custom 4

suche einfach nach waypoints. der geocache-modus funtioniert nur mit einem zugewiesenen icon. bei mir typischerweise das der tradis. ;-)
beim export aus gsak läßt sich jedem cachetyp zuweisen, welches custom icon am ziel (map source oder gpsr) angezeigt werden soll.

Ja ich bin fix. Aber gestern hatte ich weiter keine zeit weil ich zu eine versammulung muste.
