Oregon als Vista-Nachfolger?

wenn der Colorado der Nachfolger des GPAMap60CSx sein sollte (aber nie wurde) . . .
soll der Oregon der Nachfolger des Vista HCx werden?

Das Oregon ist nur geringfügig größer als die eTrex-Reihe, das würde sogar passen.

Hier ist das Oregon 200 schon in der Auswahl:

Führt allerdings bei Auswahl ins leere.

Garmin wird vor der offiziellen Ankündigung wahrscheinlich keine Informationen zum neuen Gerät veröffentlichen.
Die Spekulationen gehen in Richtung "outdoor Nüviphone ohne Telefon"

Nun, das sieht dem Colorado recht ähnlich. Das Bedienkonzept ist der einzige mir anhand der Seite offensichtliche Unterschied. Oder findet jemand noch mehr?

Sie haben es also noch immer nicht geschafft, sich von diesen lästigen Beschränkungen zu trennen und den SD-Kartenspeicher dafür nutzbar zu machen.

ausser dem Rad und und dem Antennenstummel gibt es anscheinend kaum einen Unterschied.
Nur dass es das Oregon 200 ohne Kompass, ohne Höhenmesser und ohne drahtlosen Datenaustausch mit geringerem internen Speicher geben wird.

Die sollten sich lieber um die Firmware des Colorado kümmern, anstatt das nächste halbfertige Gerät rauszubringen, welches dann vom Kunden beta-getestet wird und in diesem Zustand verharrt :???:

Kann mal ein Coloradokenner die GUI-Screenshots vergleichen, ob sich die beiden dann auch so ähnlich sind wie eTrex-H-Serie und das 60er?

Touchscreen ist ja schon toll. :)

Sieht schon SEHR ähnlich aus. Beim Colorado habe ich mich im Geocaching mode gewundert warum der Go/Los Knopf so gross visualisiert ist, macht jetzt viel mehr Sinn, wenn der Knopf über Touchscreen bedienbar ist...

Ich würde gerne mal sehen wie Text und Zahleneingabe aussieht, denn das war bisher immer ne Spassbremse...

mmmh - Touchscreen bei einem Outdoorgerät.
Die Vorstellung, mit vom Cachen verschmutzten Finger, das Display zu bedienen, löst bei mir keine Begeisterungssprünge aus.
Ebenso stelle ich mir gerade das Diplay nach intensiver Bedienung beim Bootsangeln mit nassen bzw. beim Radeln mit verschwitzten Fingern vor. Wird man da nicht immer am putzen sein?
Für mich sieht der Oregon mehr nach ChickyMicky- Gerät aus, der sich gut neben dem iPhone macht.

Ich glaube das nicht! Meine Hände sind eigentlich nur nach Autoreparaturen so dreckig, dass ich den Touchscreen nicht anfassen möchte.
Ich halte das für die fast natürlichste Eingabeart: Einfach mit dem Finger drauftippen!
Wie toll funzt das bei den Streetpiloten und den nüvis!
