Anderer Wherigo-Player als der von Grounspeak

Hallo,

weiß jemand, ob es einen anderen Wherigo Player gibt, als den von Groundspeak angebotenen?
Der unterstützt keine VGA-PDAs und Groundspeak ignoriert das einfach. :motz:

Gibt es eventuell sogar ein Opensource Projekt dazu? Thomas hatte ja sogar schon mal
angefangen die Cartridges zu analysieren (Wenn ich mich richtig erinnere).
Google hat mir leider nicht viel weitergeholfen. Aber vielleicht weiß hier ja jemand etwas.

hi folks,
actually, there is a different wherigo player ;) it's for mobile phones with Java, but it can also work on some PDAs.
i'm developing it and now i'm in the phase where it "works well enough" to release to general public, to discover new bugs on different cartridges.

ich habe Dein openwig direkt mal auf meinem Nokia 6500 slide (FW V08.30) ausprobiert.

Das Programm gibt beim Start sofort einen Programmfehler aus:
Code: 
No Class Def Found
Error
java/lang/NoClassDef FoundError
ah:
javax/microedition/location/LocationListener

Ich habe die Software einmal mit der PC Suite ins Handy installiert und bei einem weiteren Versuch von des SD Karte gestartet.

Fehlermeldung ist die gleiche.

Was ist das Problem?

hi,
which version did you use? i remember fixing this error for nokia 6230i, but i'm not sure that the fix works for 6500 too.
please try installing the latest version http://openwig.googlecode.com/files/openwig-0.3.07-a.zip (it says "fixes problem on Nokia6230" on the download page) and report back if it still doesn't work

Nun startet das Programm. Mehr konnte ich leider jetzt nicht testen.

habe mir jetzt erstmal das Tutorial heruntergeladen:
WherigoTutorial

Das Tutorial started, aber der Einleitung kann man nicht nach unten scrollen.
Die Anzeige springt immer wieder zum Anfang zurück.

Das Wherigo startet - und auch die Verbindung zur Bluetooth Mouse klappt.

olala ... this will need to be solved in a different way ...

anyway: all screens that show distance (such as the cartridge info) are constantly refreshing, and on Nokias, this forces the screen to scroll up.
just go to Options and set Refresh interval to a higher value (15 seconds should be enough, i guess)

Also please note that the tutorial is playable, but it will show an error instead of displaying the completion code. This is a known bug and will be fixed in the next version, but for now it's there.
