Das dürften die Beweggründe sein.

Subject: Reviewer demission
Dear Groundspeak lackeys,
I am one of many German users, who is not satisfied with the way ReviewerXYZ is doing his reviewer job. His decisions for publishing or rejecting a cache seem mostly arbitrary and if users questions a decision, the reviewer often gets abusive instead of explaining, which guideline was violated. This behaviour is not tolerable!
Every now and then he is complaining about his reviewing job in the German forums. He was asked many times to quit his reviewer job, because he doesn't longer has the support of a growing part of the local caching community. But instead of quitting he simply goes on complaining about the awful job a reviewer has to do.
I hope you might be able to influence him, because the way he acts now represents Groundspeak in a very bad manner.
Some users are starting to archive all their caches and leave Geocaching.com as a result of this ongoing conflict between reviewer and the community.
In my opinion it would be best to retire him and look for a new volunteer, who is willing to work *with* the local cacher community and not against them.
Greetings
xyz
Also dann: Mal gucken, ob es was bewirkt.
