Probleme bei der Installation auf PPC

hallo bilbowolf.

dein Programm läuft auf meinem PC einwandfrei.
ich bekomme es nur auf meinem PC nicht zum laufen.
ich benutze eine Yakumo delta 300 mit win mobile 2003 version 4.20.0

ich habe die zip datei heruntergeladen und entpackt
alle dateien in einen ordner cachewolf in programme auf dem ppc kopiert
dann habe ich Ewe148-CAB-PocketPC2003-HighResolution.zip. heruntergeladen.
datei entpackt und auf Storage card kopiert.
ppc getrennt und Programm ausgeführt
mit datei explorer gesucht und verucht auszuführen
dann die meldung:
ewe konnte nicht gefunden werden.
Bitte stellen sie sicher,
dass pfad und Dateiname korrekt sind und dass alle
nötigen Bibliotheken zur Verfügung stehen.

selbe anzeige erhalte ich, wenn ich cachewolf ausführen möchte.

hast du einen tip?

Du musst die EWE VM ordnungsgemäß installieren:

Installing Using CAB Files

This is the recommended way of installing the Ewe VM. The CAB file installs the application and will also register information so that the Remove Programs utility will be able to uninstall the VM if necessary.

To install the application, use ActiveSync to connect to the PocketPC and copy the appropriate CAB file to any location on the PocketPC (including a Storage Card – if so desired). Then, disconnect from ActiveSync and run the File Explorer on the PocketPC itself. Locate the CAB file on the PocketPC file system and then simply select the CAB file with the pen. The VM will then be automatically installed on the system and the CAB file itself will be removed from the PocketPC.

After installation go to Start->Programs->Ewe and click the ewe icon to run the VM. You can also select the Solitaire sample or RegistryView sample as well.

To uninstall after a CAB installation, you can use the Remove Programs option in the Settings screen.

Ich habe die Datei auf meinem rechner in einem Ordner ewe extrahiert

Dann die CAB Datei auf meine Speicherkarte kopiert über das aktiv Sync Kabel

Dann habe ich die Verbindung zum PC getrennt.

Then, disconnect from ActiveSync

Danach habe ich mit dem Dateiexplorer die CAB Datei gesucht und ausgeführt.

Das Programm hat sich installiert und ein Ordnen ewe wurde in programme angelegt.

Wenn ich nun starten will bekomme ich diese Fehlermeldung wie oben beschrieben.

Wo mache ich da nur den Fehler!

Ok, ich glaube der Yakume Delta 300 ist kein VGA PDA! Wenn dies stimmt dann bitte eine andere CAB benutzen.

Wie starte ich nun das Programm CacheWolf?

In der Doku steht

"Nach der Installation der VM läßt sich CacheWolf problemlos aus dem PPC Verzeichnis starten. In der regel muß die VM nicht jedesmal neu installiert werden.

Welches Verzeichnid ist gemeint?

Wenn ich Cachwolf.exe ausführen will, bekomme ich wieder die Fehlermeldung vom Anfang!

ich habe auch den Yakumo Delta. Benutz mal die Version PocketPCARM, die mit 2003 am Ende funzt bei mir auch nicht. Ich habe mir die EWE-Dateien noch in das CacheWolf-Verzeichnis koppiert, weiß allerdings nicht, ob dies unbedingt notwendig ist.

Ich habe einen HP Ipaq 2210.
EWE ließ sich gut installieren - doch mehre Versuche für CW schlugen fehl!
Ich bekomme die gleiche Meldung wie BrennerM.

hast Du schon alle Platformen durchprobiert? PPC 2003, ARM, MIPS, SH3?

Nein, hab ich noch nicht. Dachte ich hätte es nicht kapiert und bevor ich wild installiere wollte ich vorher fragen!
Dann soll ich also einfach nach und nach testen :?:

Ich habe bisher nicht herausgefunden, wie man herausfindet, welche Version geladen werden muß.

Die Arbeit ist aber nicht viel, du musst ja nicht jedesmal die VM neu installieren. Es reicht einfach die cachewolf.exe auszutauschen.

Das wäre meine nächste Frage gewesen, worin sich die Versionen unterscheiden.... na gut, dann werd ich mal installieren.
Wenn es jemand interessiert kann ich dann auch erzählen welche (hoffentlich!!) bei mir funktioniert hat.

NACHTRAG:
Für den HP Ipaq 2210 ist die ARM Version nötig. Ist leider relativ langsam, aber vielleicht liegt es daran das ich ihn auf der sd-Karte gespeichert habe.

Bin nun etwas schlauer:

Well, when M$ introduced Windows CE there were several processors supported (SH3, MIPS, ARM, etc). Then (I don't know exactly when) they stopped support for all processors except ARM. Pocket PC 2002 and Pocket 2003 (= Windows Mobile 2003) run ARM software.

You should see the processor somewhere in the Control Center (Intel Xscale is an ARM processor...)

Hier bekommst Du heraus, ob Du eine "ARM" - Kiste hast.

Demzufolge besteht die größte Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass Du mit dem ARM Build von Cachewolf die besten Chancen hast.
